Lodging and Food
We have very comfortable lodging. We are located 15 minutes west of Saskatoon and 25 minutes from the airport. Our lodging is centrally located in the heart of our waterfowl area. Home-style meals will be served during the hunt. Please let us know in advance if there are any special dietary considerations as we will be more than happy to accommodate your requests. Any lodging that is required before or after the hunt must be arranged by the client and is the client’s financial responsibility.
Clients will wake up early (around 4:00am), eat a light breakfast (muffins, fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee) and then head to the field for the set up of decoys and blinds. After the morning shoot ,we will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we will head back to the field and set up for another shoot. After this hunt, we will return to the lodge for a nice relaxing evening meal.
Temperatures during this time of year generally run from the 30’s in the morning to the mid 60’s in the afternoon. Bring clothes that can be layered. A full list of recommended gear is available on request.
Clients will fly into Saskatoon where they will be met by one of representatives and driven to camp. At the conclusion of the hunt, clients will be driven back to the airport for their flight home, or if overnight accommodations are required to their hotel in Saskatoon. The Saskatoon Inn (800) 667-8789 is conveniently located near the airport. If a hotel room is required, it is the client’s responsibility to reserve the room and cover all costs.
