Saskatchewan trophy black bear hunts. Our exclusive guiding area encompasses 140 square miles of the very best black bear habitat in northern Saskatchewan, a mix of Boreal forest , swamps and river bottoms.
We have about 30% colour phase bears and a high hunt success rate. Our guides have many years of bear guiding experience. We encourage our hunters to harvest older mature boars to keep the trophy quality high.
We have a large number of trail cams out for our management use.
Lodging , Meals, Guiding and Trophy prep are provided during your hunt.
Virtually all bear hunts in Saskatchewan are baited hunts. Baiting begins as early in the spring as the law and weather allow.
We use ladder stands and have also built special ground blinds from expanded metal we call ‘The Cage’ (see Cody Robbins Live 2 Hunt ).
Hunts start around 2pm and run until the end of legal shooting time. All hunters will be supplied with a two way radio so they can be in contact with the guides.
You can relax in the mornings or boat rentals and guided fishing trips for Northern Pike and Walleye can be arranged on a pay-per-day basis.
All Hunters will travel to Saskatoon Saskatchewan where they will be picked up and taken to camp by one of our staff.
Over night accommodations in Saskatoon are the responsibility of the hunter, there are several hotels close to the airport that provide shuttle service.
Getting your trophies home
Your trophy will be skinned in the field and the hide frozen.
You can have your trophy taken care of by a local taxidermist.
Or, if you like, you can bring an extra duffle bag and take the frozen hide home with you. If you choose to take the hide home with you, all risks and additional luggage costs are your responsibility.
We look forward to hunting with you.
